Guess what ladies? God has BIG, good, God-glorying, abundant plans for your life!! Romans eight says nothing can separate you from the love of God; not death, life, angels, demons, nothing you've done in your past, present, future, not any power, not any height, depth, NOTHING can keep us from the love of God.

Can we all just take a second and read that again? NOTHING can keep us from the love of God. Talk about sending cold chills over your body.

I feel like we live in a world now where we are defined by how many 'likes' our photos get on social media. And as long as we are looking for our worth in this world and what our society has to offer us we will always end up feeling empty. What we should be searching for is God and what he has planned for us. We have a choice to make every single day, every morning when we wake up. Will I try to please God today or this world?

I am still a work on progress and can tell you that I strive every day to find my worth in God. For so long I found my worth in the things that our society says are most important and the opinions of others around me. For example, why was I so concerned about how people would view me on social media? Were my pictures good enough? Why did any of that matter?

When I got out of a toxic and unhealthy relationship, I can honestly say it took almost two years for me to actually feel that I am in fact worthy of love, that I am beautiful in the eyes of God, and that he has great plans for my life. Since then, I continue to realize that I am worth more than rubies and pearls and I should not settle for less than the best God has to offer for me and my life.

Ladies, if you are constantly striving to 'prove' your worth to someone or some unrealistic expectation that society places on you, then who are you really seeking to find your worth in? I had to fall madly in love with Jesus Christ to find that I didn't love myself near as much as what I should. I am a child of God and I am more than worthy of love, kindness, compassion, peace, and joy. These are God's promises.

Stop letting this world define you. Let God define you. Let your faith represent who you are.

Beauty is in the way you hold yourself. It is how you treat people. The way you love. It is self acceptance. Beauty is in your soul. Beauty is Christ.

Keep shining that light, friends! You were created by God. You are beautiful. You are worthy. Embrace that!
